kathy, I believe the problem here is that you have the Trial version of FM
5. you can still play with ebase without filemaker (you just won't have
access to the Filemaker commands and customizations - although ebase has
some customizing features such as working with limited value lists)...
otherwise, if you want to play with the full filemaker features in ebase,
you will need to have the FULL version of FM5.
