Carolyn,
V.1.03 is already converted to work with FMP5 so you don't have to do
the conversion yourself. It also has repaired a few bugs from 1.02. As
I understand it, that's the only change to 1.03.
So if you hadn't been customizing, I'd say 1.03 is the best way to go.
Since you've been customizing, you'll have to decide whether or not
version 1.03 is the best way for you to go - those customizations will
need to be re-done in v.1.03.
The 1.03 manual should be essentially identical to the 1.02 manual as
the operations of the program are supposed to be identical.
As for v.2, I'd say that you should probably go ahead with v.1.02 or
1.03 as ebase folks promise to make the upgrade reasonably
straightforward. You may find that v.1.02 or 1.03 is sufficient, and
will have gotten a head start by making your data conversions now.
