I am sure that someone will say "tag for meaning/description, not for renderers". It is right, of course. But when renderers get odd, one cannot always be pure :-) That said, I started using width on rivers when I mapped a footpath along the bank of a river and the renderers showed it inside the river! The default rendering width seemed to assume a very major river. In this case, width=n communicates essential information to the renderers. ael _______________________________________________ newbies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/newbies
