I can't seem to be able to get Evolution to send email to anyone

I can send meassages to "outside addresses" with mozilla, but not

with

Evolution. I sync my palm with evolution so I would prefer to

use it

for sending emails and such. I would actually prefer mozilla,

but from

what I can tell syncing a mozilla adress book with a palm is not

yet

supported in linux?

Does anyone have this working or know what settings I should use?

Sounds like you need to tweak your smtp settings. In Evolution, Tools->Settings. Click on the account you are trying to use, then

click

Edit. Click on the Sending Mail tab, Check the "Server requires
authentication" box, check Remember this Password, put your

username in

the box. The next time you try to send mail, a prompt will pop up
asking you for your password. Let us know if that fixes the

problem.

===== “The pledge of allegiance to the flag is a pledge to the ideals of our forefathers, the men who fought and died in the building of this great nation. It is a pledge to fulfill our duties and obligations as citizens of the United States, and to uphold the principles of our constitution. And last but not least, it is a pledge to maintain the four great freedoms treasured by all Americans: freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from want, and freedom from fear.” ~Lee Greenwood
