I always have trouble getting SAMBA to work properly.  All I really want out of it is 
to act like windows -- browse and mount other people's shares, and share directories 
of my own.  What are the key configuration options that need to be set, and what 
services need to be running (i.e. smbd & nmbd)?  If it is helpful, I have webmin and 
swat working on SuSe 8.2, and I am also comfortable editing configuration files on my 
own.
