first off, welcome! Sorry you're having a hard start with your install. 1.) Burning the Redhat isos. - The redhat isos files are image files. You need to make sure to burn them as image files. They will be bootable when burnt this way. Now because I'm a linux-only user, I can't exactly tell you how to do this. It depends on the program that you use to do your burning. look for burn as image or something like that.
2.) Graphical Install. - RedHat probably has a hard time with your graphics card. Don't worry! NVidia has drivers for your card that work very well. When you boot off of the RH cd type in: linux text . This will start you off installing redhat in text mode. So go through and install Linux. If it correctly detects your graphics card when you set up the graphical environment, then you should be good to go. If not, then email back to the list and we'll help you from there on out. 3.) Bootloader. - The bootloader that linux uses is called GRUB. It should correctly detect windows, linux and everything else. If it doesn't email us back. Also if you need/want help you can email me off-list, I'd be willing to help out. Art On Thu, 2003-09-18 at 20:57, Dave Wilson wrote: > Alright guys, here's the deal.
