        Is it built into the motherboard? If so, do you have the documentation that 
came with your motherboard? If not, and/or if you don't have any drivers or 
docs on the card itself, either, then lspci is your best bet.  If it's on the 
motherboard, I don't know how to find out except through something like 
knoppix, and, barring that, even though it feels a bit tainted, it's helped 
me before to look at the hardware profile in windows.  
        And what version of linux are you using?
