apt-get can be gotten at apt.freshrpms.net (i think that's right), and you just
select the one for fedora...  as for the xmms problem, you need to apt-get
xmms-mp3...  
unfortunately, i cannot take any credit for the above...  i was on IRC today,
and had the same problem, and was assisted there..
