my experience is that (at least with RedHat 8, where I had this problem), if you boot into the linux cd, there is an option to alter your setup (i don't remember how they term it)... From there, you can reinstall the boot loader... that worked for me... :) i'm assuming that you used an actual win install disk, as opposed to a drive image cd, when you reinstalled win? (i had problems with that too)... if so, then linux should still be installed... good luck ~erin
