During spring and summer we had a packed room of about 4-7 people. This semester It's looking like we'll have about 30 people a meeting. Last winter was about an average attendence of 20-30. > How do you manage without charging membership fees? Last year a number of members donated a 120 GB drive to phantom (the server) for mirrorring and stuff. Installfests are the one area that we have potential to spend money in, and we usually get by with the donation of CDs by some members, and have built up a fairly good supply of donated hardware. Of course, the downside is that we don't have free pizza every meeting. > Do you have opening and closing socials? What about food and stuff? > We like food. Actually Andrew appreciates pizzas delivered to the apartment :). Opening socials don't usually happen, but the installfest might be considered one. As Erin mention, it's starting to be a tradition to have the last meeting of the semester be a frag-fest, and you can order pizza if you want to. > Is UUG a good club? ;-) > There is absolutely no basis in my saying yes ;-) > Thanks! This is a mostly offical statement by me. Unless I'm told otherwise. -- Scott Paul Robertson http://spr.mahonri5.net GnuPG FingerPrint: 09ab 64b5 edc0 903e 93ce edb9 3bcc f8fb dc5d 7601
