I am looking for some help.  I have three hard drives:
  • 250 GB, contains data
  • 13 GB, contains the master boot record
  • 6 GB, has the base installation of Linux
I know that the configuration is bad, requiring all three disks to boot, but it's a long story.  Well, last night the 13 GB drive with my master boot record (MSB) crashed last night, and the GRUB boot loader information seems to be corrupted on smallest drive.  I suppose I need only reinstall (reconfigure?) GRUB on either the big drive or the 6 GB, allowing the 13 GB drive to go by the wayside.

I have the partition information for the two drives, which I figure I'll need to setup GRUB.  I don't have much experience with setting up a boot loader, I've only done it once as part of a Gentoo install.  From what I've described, is my situation rather straight-forward, or more involved?  What should I do to get back up and running?  Thanks!
