We have a special guest who's flying in from Illinois to present at our meeting[1]. Paul McNabb is the Chief Security Architect for Innovative Security Systems and has many years of experience with operating system security and UNIX. I don't yet have a blurb to post on the website, but I want to let you know now since the meeting is just next week. You can expect a little bit about the history of UNIX, and the main topic will be focused on computer security.
With the combination of an awesome speaker and some great binary grab bag items, it's sure to be an exceptional meeting. There'll be some info about the upcoming Utah Open Source Conference (www.utosc.org), too. We'll be in the usual place, CTB 340, on Tues. July 31 at 7:30 p.m.
-Peter[1]: Ok, so he's here for other things, too. But the point is that he'll be presenting. :)
