Father and son of Serb nationality beaten up in Pristina

The driver of a bus of transporter Arsa prevoz, Igor Arsic, and his
father Vid, were beaten up while driving a bus with some 40 Serbs from
Gracanica to Kosovska Mitrovica, and were taken to a police station in
Pristina.
Dr Aleksandar Vasic, of the Mitrovica Hospital, where father and son
have been taken, said both have suffered a concussion and have bruises
on their body and extremities. Igor Arsic’s eye has been injured, Dr
Vasic said. Vid Arsic said that a van intercepted them when they were
driving, to which his son Igor responded by sounding a siren. A Kosovo
Police Service policeman then approached him and started beating him up
with no reason. Then a Golf vehicle arrived and four armed persons in
civilian clothings got out and started beating both him and his son.
Then they took then to a police station, where they detained them for an
hour.
After the incident, Vid Arsic said he is planning to leave Kosmet with
his family.
