#1 - Just a reminder -- if you know anybody that has not registered to vote yet, then Monday, October 31st is the last day to register! Where? county building at 100 E. Center St. Room 3100. Take photo ID. When? Monday, 31st from 8am to 8pm.
It's too late to mail registrations. 7:59pm is the absolute last time they can register to vote. #2 - Do you know students? Call them and convince them to vote in Provo if they're not already registered. They live here 8 months or more of the year for 4 years (at least). Why shouldn't they vote here with all the zoning/private property and parking issues affecting them? They lose nothing by voting here (unless they have a home state scholarship that requires them to keep their home state residency.) Besides their vote having an immediate impact please also remind that they will be leaving a legacy behind for other students. :) #3 - VOLUNTEERS WANTED -- tonight, Sunday, oct. 30th or Monday Oct. 31st. The sooner the better. Need helping contacting students to encourage them to register before 8pm. Even if you only have thirty minutes to spare, will you please call me at 356-1032 at any time. If we want our candidates to even have a chance of winning and changing the zoning laws then students are a key factor. There's less than 24 hours. Please help.
