*Today is the last day to register to vote in order to be able to vote
in September 15th -- the primary for city council seats and for mayor.
Go to 100 E. Center St. (the county building) 3rd floor -- room 3100
before 5:00pm today!

or a friend of a friend that hasn't registered yet! :)
*The city primary election in years past has had extremely poor turnouts.
Many of the races have been decided by only a few dozen votes!
And so many city laws affect our day to day lives.
Your vote on September 15th carries a lot of weight!

P.S. yes, it is too late to mail in a voter registration form. You must
go in person to the voter registration office at the address above
during regular business hours today! :)
