yep. but (in the US anyway) we still pick juries instead of asking the
accused who he (she) thinks should be judging him. i keep mine on my newton

And still, for all the faults of the resume (and I keep mine on my Newton),
people get hired using them every day. They've been a useful tool for who
knows how long, without companies having to put an ad in the newspaper,
saying:
"What about this guy? What's the scoop on him?"
