alternatively, one could simply ask our friends on the list about their
experiences (if any) on the subject and that way, using the community's
reciprocal resource sharing, we achieve a higher level of comfort,peace and

And of course, if we wanted to hang anyone here on the Newtonlist, I'd
agree
with you completely. I haven't actually thought of any of my trading
partners on swaplist or Newtonlist as "the accused", but if I felt that way
about them I would either not trade or I'd hire a P.D. to follow them for a
week or two before trusting them to send the serial port dongle.
