Thanks to Chris T-H's Northeast U.S. Migration Weather post, I decided to
do a short NFC count in the early morning of 28 August from 2:00 AM to 3:30
AM, and had such good luck that I now have two NFCs I am not sure about. I
have attached the first one (will try to attach the second in a subsequent
email since it otherwise seems to exceed the limit). The first, from 2:21
AM, is maybe a shorebird/peep of some kind? The second, a sequence of calls
from 3:00 AM, does seem reminiscent of American Golden-Plover, but then
again I'm not sure. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Overall it was a good flight, and I had 140 warbler sp. (mostly zeeps and
upsweeps, with a couple downsweeps), and 12 thrushes. Here is a list of the
NFCs I have identified:

Killdeer
Eastern Screech-Owl (local bird)
Barred Owl (local birds)
Swainson's Thrush
Ovenbird
American Redstart
Chestnut-sided Warbler
Savannah Sparrow
Rose-breasted Grosbeak

Thanks in advance, and good night listening!
