Also, it bears repeating that the dupreq cache wasn't working for secure connections. Pre-V2.6 checksummed the ciphertext, which is by definition different on every request. We'd never see duplicates. One of the innovations in V2.6 (ntirpc 1.6) is the checksum is of the plaintext. So duplicate requests will be detected.
