Permissions are fine, the file is created as the netflow user ok. I used an RPM for rrdtool initially, but then went to source in an attempt to get this working. No change. I am at rrdtool-1.3.4, not sure why that would casue nfsend to die without any error in any log file.
I'll backlevel rrdtool unless there are other suggestions?
