Out of interest, you've raised this as a 'blocker' ... unless I'm missing
something this doesn't block NH from working. (It may block your project,
but that's a separate matter.)
In addition, you've raised this as a bug. I understand this doesn't work
the way you'd like it to, but it looks to me (at first glance - so I may
again be missing something) like a change request.
I'll update the JIRA accordingly.
Note, that in order to increase the priority, you should follow Patrick's
suggestion of voting for the issue.

Subject: [nhibernate-development] Re: NHibernate 3 - Linq Provider is Awful
Hi thanks, i've converted my bug to the NHibernate project. Which you
can find here:
http://216.121.112.228/browse/NH-2502
I made an attempt at writing a test case but for reasons explained in
the comments i was unable to do so.

Hi nfplee.
It would be great if you could report your bugs in the NHibernate
project in JIRA. Under that project, there's a Linq component that
should be used.
If you can separate each bug into a different issue with a test case,
that would help a lot. Please take a look to see if you find a
duplicate issue and vote for that issue if you find it. Also, vote
for your own issue if you want it to be solved sooner.
I have a blog article on making a test case here:
http://blog.patearl.net/2010/12/nhibernate-30-linq.html
The more you are able to help out making simple tests and issues, the
faster we can resolve the issues. Looking forward to working with you
on this.
