Jumping on this thread a bit late... I have quite a few clients using NHibernate successfully. The unfortunate reality is that you need permission to say "XYZ Company Uses NHibernate" and that permission doesn't come from the developers. Some of the companies are large, household names. (Or at least known in geek households.) I'll ask around my clients to see if any are willing to admit publicly that they use NHibernate. :)
