I'm just 30 miles from the Galveston seawall that the national news is covering. It looks like bedlam there, we haven't even had any rain or a steady breeze here, *yet*. I may go to a friends house about 20 miles west of here if it looks like the storm surge is going to be as bad as it says it is. I'm not going further than that.
