so coming home from work it poured down raining. i drove through some
pretty big puddles. at one point a bronco drove by doing 70 and a wall
of water soaked me. its summer and i dont mind the rain but the next
day i try to start my bike and theirs no fire. it will turn over but
no fire. so i took off the tank. cleaned the air filter. checked the
plugs. battery. fuses. wires. ignitor. coils. pretty much everything.
could not find anything wrong. i was pretty upset. i figured water
killed something but what? hot and mad with gnats buzzing around my
head i had to step back for a minute before i broke something. and
then i saw it the kids like to lean on my bike and bullshit with each
other. i frequently find it in gear or the mirror moved well this time
it was the engine kill switch. i try to look at the bright side. at
least i got a tune up. i also informed them it would not be advisable
to be seen anywhere near my bike again. you got to love kids. just
thought i would share my story. highg.
