The best way to determine if it is a cleaner is to monitor your oil.  It should
stay clean longer.  And obviously, it is doing something about combustion,
because you are achieving better mileage.  IMHO it shouldn't hurt your engine,
and there are several reasons I say that.
My personal experience is that adding Brown's gas to the mix (from a
hydrogen/oxygen generator) is a better way to boost mileage and clean up your
engine's innards at the same time.  My own experience, as I have said
before, has been about a 60% increase in mileage.  In my Subaru Legacy, that
meant from 27 mpg to around 45mpg.  It would have been better, but I was
traveling in excess of 90 mph at times; and for one 12 mile stretch I was doing
100 +, steady speed.
Although I have bought the materials, I haven't made one for my nighthawk yet,
but I expect it to go from around 60 mpg to somewhere between 90 and 100.
I forgot to mention - I increased the tire pressure to around 47 psi instead of
the usual 32.  I am not sure yet what to do about tire pressure in my Nighthawk.
The most impressive thing in my experience working with hydrogen generators is
how they can clean up the insides of an old engine and restore power; this,
especially with a wet air chamber that adds moisture to the air going into the
engine.

Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] Gas additive

I have been adding a gas additive to my tank every 4 to 5 fill-ups.
Can't remember the name of the stuff but it's "the same as seafoam but
better" according to my friend the crazy mechanic.  He has a trucking
company and adds stuff to his tanks on every fill-up.  I have noticed
better gas mileage - about 4 mpg more.  My concern is what is this
doing to my engine?  It's a cleaner and octane booster.  Do need to
be  concerned?
