To help putting the spring on: Put pennies or washers between the coils to make the spring longer. Basically you bend the spring and place the pennies between to coils, then bend it the other way to do the opposite side. I think I used around 16-20 total. 8-10 on each side of the spring. When the spring is installed. Put the stand down. This stretches the spring, releasing the pennies or washers..
