Can't see why it would be as long as it's hidden and the ammo is in a separate container but if your job is at stake probably not worth the risk. Hell I ride down the range with my rifles strapped on the back of my 450. I put my vz 24, Winchester 62, and 10\22 in my guitar case, strap that on the passenger shingle and then strap my duffel bag with all my ammo and things on top of that. The range officers thought my setup amusing but said it was fine since my ammo is in a separate bag. I keep the bolt out of the Mauser, the Winchester is a take down model and the 10\22 gets a trigger lock. The muzzle of the Mauser sticks out of the case which certainly earns me looks at the gas station ; )
