Just thought I'd offer a solution that solved both interests ;) Back on topic though, I've had cars that were she's and it's. My first car in HS was a wreck my dad bought for salvage and put in my mom's garage when I was 15 so I could fix it by the time I was 16. I don't know if he did that as a gift for me, or for the satisfaction of filling his ex-wife's garage with a junked car, but anyways, I wrenched on it and got it running. Typical 16 yr old I was mean as hell to that car, plus it was a mitsubishi, so it was never reliable and always breaking down. That's the part I hated about it, it was hell on 4 wheels when it was running though. Plenty of power and handled like nothing else on the road. I had a serious love/hate relationship with that car, but I referred to it as an "IT". My reasoning was simple, it was daemon sent from hell to tempt me with worldly pleasures and drain away all of my money and daemon's don't have gender so there for it was an "IT". To this day though, on the rare occasion that I run across one of those cars in a parking lot my heart stops and I just sit there staring at it... -Kyle On Wed, Apr 6, 2011 at 9:17 AM, Joey Kelley <[email protected]> wrote: > Live Long and Prosper Kyle. > -Joey > > On Wed, Apr 6, 2011 at 9:12 AM, Kyle Munz <[email protected]> wrote: > > Name it T'Pring or T'Pol and you can call it a "she" too ;) > > > > -Kyle > > > > > > On Wed, Apr 6, 2011 at 7:11 AM, Joey Kelley <[email protected]> wrote: > >> > >> Ok that was my excuse - now I need to buy a Kawasaki Vulcan at some > >> point and call it 'Spock' :-) > >> I can ride around on it with no helmet and pointed ears..... > >> Where is my Tri-Corder? > >> -Joey > >> > >> On Wed, Apr 6, 2011 at 7:37 AM, [email protected] > >> <[email protected]> wrote: > >> > ive had 3 that got named... > >> > warlock (06 ranger, white) > >> > cabreneal (tolkinen elvish for raven, 99 250 NH) > >> > and now tuvoc (previous owner, im taking the boat superstition here > that > >> > its bad luck to rename it without an elaborite ceromoney to the sea > gods. > >> > There first bike was a vulcon and that got named spock...
