That sounds like half of what you should be getting, but remember mileage is typically used incorrectly as a measure of vehicle fitness and economy (at least in my O opinion) You likely actually got about 50mpgs or higher when riding, and burned the second gallon while warming up the bike and doing carb sync procedure and idle speed adjustments.
