Well, Kurt, I can't make the distance between us smaller. Sorry :-)
I have a friend who runs a trucking firm, but I doubt he'd be
able to beat $274 dollars....
Regarding the gas mileage - the 450 is not really the bike to
have if you're running 70 on the interstate - at that speed - the engine
revs up to around 5,200 RPM or so - she's really screaming and mileage
plunges into the 40s - usually low 40s. The highest I remember getting was
52 - average over a tank and that was 45-55 MPH on two lane black tops.
She's a nice bike and I hate to let her go, but, all things must
pass...
