Regarding the gas mileage - the 450 is not really the bike to have if you're running 70 on the interstate - at that speed - the engine revs up to around 5,200 RPM or so - she's really screaming and mileage plunges into the 40s - usually low 40s. The highest I remember getting was 52 - average over a tank and that was 45-55 MPH on two lane black tops.
