Did you try putting it in gear and rolling it backwards to see if it's a stuck starter? When you say you turned it by hand did you put a wrench to it and it didn't turn at all? It should turn but not easily.

I removed the mufflers and got a little more speed out of it though not much more. I was listening to my little voice, it was telling me to run a check on the cdi just for kicks but I ignored it. So I took it for a spin and it did well, got back and put it away. Now it will not budge, so I removed the starter and soldered some of the wires inside which were kind of loose, put it back in but it will not turn over. I am going to try to turn it by hand though I don't see it moving much. Thinking is time to remove the riser, any thoughts????? thanks in advance -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
