Hi, I got the cover off the stator and turned it, I could not before, I lost my #8 cube somewhere, it started up nice and several more times to boot. I wonder what could have happened? The starter wires for the coils were loose inside the starter so the contact there was poor, soldered and made it like new. The bolt where the hot is connected to the starter is directly connected to the coil wires inside and one must be careful not to turn the bolt when tightening the hot to the starter lest the connection inside is twisted and shorts. I am glad to have my Nighthawk back tho I could not ride due to severe weather, but that will soon pass as well.
