Welcome to the group Dean, you can get new turn signal stems on JC Whitney
fairly cheap. They work great for the rear two-wire signals, but can be a
bit tight for the front 3wire signals since the inside diameter isn't quite
as wide as the OEM ones. I was able to open them a bit with a drill though
and got them to work.
As for your carbs, where are they leaking from? Either way, after sitting
that long, it'd be a good idea to take them off the bike and clean them.
