I agree with Ron, check the battery first since it's easiest. The 650s
don't charge below 2500 RPM so at idle the battery isn't gaining. A good
ride on a healthy bike should though. There are plenty of discussions in
the archives going into the charging system on these bikes, guys who know a
lot more about the habits of electrons than I do have given their opinions,
basically it seems to boil down to use quality parts and you're ok.
