Sorry for the loss of your friend.  I've been thinking about installion a head light modulator.  It makes the headlight "modulate on/off".  I have seen these on other bikes and they do attract attention and you can see them for quite a distance.

I do not know the exact color yellow as I bought the bike already painted yellow.  My friend bought a 2006 Yamaha R1 Anniversary Edition.  That metallic yellow is absolutly beautiful.

 

I do have one regret...  I was riding 150' behind my friend (Ducati Monster 620 Dark) doing 40 - 45 mph when an opposing driver made a U turn in front of us.  I was immediately full on the brakes.  My friend hit the U turner and died 2 weeks later.  The drivers statement, "I saw the yellow bike." 

 

My ST1100 has no markings except a Chiquita sticker and a Safety Third sticker.

A typical conversation....

"What is it?"

1993 Honda ST1100

"It really looks good.  I didn't think it was that old."

Fresh paint

"Why the Chiquita sticker?"

I'm an old fart.  I got one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel.

"Safety Third?  What's that about?"

Well... A Safety First person would not get on one of these things.
