Stock fronts? The fronts often have a running light function, which if shut off when you actuate that side's turn signal. Thus, go to R and the right front light goes out.
If neither front nor rear flash, check to make sure your flasher relay is properly connected and functioning first, before you start replacing parts willy nilly. Do you have a manual or wiring diagram for your bike?
