I rode the Pirrelli sport demons, they are really sticky but only lasted me 
about 8K miles on a rear tire. My brother is running the Avon AM2 road riders 
and the grip well and are a lot longer lasting, the bridgestone BT021 batlax is 
a good tire as well and lasts quite well. On my GS I'm running Shinko 230 tires 
and they are nice though I haven't worn out a set yet to know their longevity. 
Anyway your choices are a lot, and better than the Dunlops that came on it.
