Here's now I start my '93 NH750 with 16K miles: Key on. No choke. Start button, and slight twist of throttle as soon as it fires. Then full choke while it warms up. When revs go from 1000 to 1500, I go to half choke and ride a few blocks, then choke off. It works every time. I do live in Floirida and the bike is garaged overnight. But give it a try.
