Hi Everybody,

My '92 750 with 81K on it needs the cam chain tensioner replaced. I ordered
the parts and should have them in the next day or two.

My question is that my mechanic told me that the repair is at least 3
hours..... does that sound right?
Because with parts and labor, that's going to over $400 to invest in a bike
that I think that's only worth about $1500 on a good day. (it's an
exceptionally clean Cali Nighthawk, but 81K is still 81K)

I have done many of my own repairs on other bikes but not too many on this
NH.

My question, is it a difficult repair or would I be better off leaving it
up to my mechanic?

thanks,

-d
