FIRST OF ALL, i have to say thank you all for the help. I very much
appreciate it. Well. the starter was rebuilt by me and correctly, I
thoroughly bench tested and i can confidently rule out that the starter is
the underlying issue affecting the bike, I think we can rule out the stator
because the bike is charging fine, having been jump started by me and
tested.. The problem lay between the starter button on the handle bars and
the solenoid. For giggles since i can get a new solenoid relay switch cheap
i will get one. However, it is my belief that the bike is not electrically
starting, because the starter is not receiving enough consistent power to
turn the bike over. So i am literally going to have to go through the
entire ignition system to locate the trouble. Which means that it is going
to be a long time before the NH 650 returns to the road. I will keep you
all posted as to what i find out. If you ladies and gents have any
suggestions where to start trouble shooting my starting system, i would
appreciate it. Wish me luck and thanks again.
