Not sure what you're running - but, I've got a 2002 NH750 with a Corbin 
seat and the Honda OEM backrest DOES fit with the Corbin seat.  I've since 
taken it off, but while it's a snug fit - with the backrest bolted on, I 
can (just barely) take the seat on & off when necessary, without unbolting 
the backrest.
