Surf, thanks for chiming in. US 41 is definitely a go. I'm all about the adventure. I want to keep the interstates to a minimum, at least outside of Georgia. I looked at route 41 on street view, but I was kind of underwhelmed. I like your version much better, and I'm hoping that's the way it will be.
