Well thanks Tommy but it apparently wasn't a cool problem. I got ten miles 
today and until then it ran just fine but then the misfire is back. I'll go get 
the bike in the morning and put it in the garage until I have more than ten 
minutes to work on it. It's not really riding temps up here anymore anyway. 
Open to suggestions to check and as always thanks in advance. I don't post much 
but I do keep up with the reading. 
My guess is something is overheating and it's probably electrical.
