Just wondering... as to how many of you out there have modified your seats?
With relatively short legs a 28" inseam, I find that my knees are in a somewhat elevated position. That puts extra flex strain on the hips. As a commuter this would pose no problem, but I plan on putting some long miles in the saddle this year. I would imagine that if you had even longer legs this would even be more of a problem. While easy enough to come up with a seat pad or additional foam in the seat, then that changes the whole relationship with back posture and handlebar height. I have got to make the annual Nighthawk Meet to see what you are riding and modifying.
