Had the same trouble with the pair I picked up at the local Honda 
dealer...they claimed they'd fit the 700s an they didn't....Bike Bandit has 
the OEM grips still available we picked up a pair off BB for the next 
replacing of them...for now the ones we picked up at the shop were a bit 
longer than yours....so we'll just keep them on for now an put on the OEMs 
when these wear out....
