I have a stage 2 jet kit along with a KN air filter. It all comes out of a Mac 4-1 exhaust. The Mac is a very cheap exhaust. It will rust after a couple of years. The Vance n Hines is a better investment. The Macs have a removable baffle which is held on by only one screw. It's a very primitive design. With the baffle removed, the bike does sound good except when running on the highway for a while. Then it's just annoying. With the baffle removed I do feel a power increase in the bike. To me it's noticable. For track days, or other goofiness I would recommend the baffle removal. But not for everyday use. Fuel economy will also greatly suffer with that setup.
