Yeah, you run it through the D ring on the short strap, the problem though
is this leaves your helmet hanging centimeters away from the exhaust pipe.
I've only used mine twice, when I was going in some place at night time in
a sketchy part of town (like a club). I usually hang the helmet on my side
mirror or bring it inside with me.
