1996 750 Nighthawk. I dismantled the front brake master cylinder a couple of months back, but left it as I’ve been doing various other things to the bike. I’ve bought a rebuild kit for it but I’m confused about a certain washer that is in the kit. In the diagram ( 13 ) shows the replacement kit. The washer that sits in front of the circlip, does it sit in the same bore as the piston seals, or in the same bore as the circlip. I’m confused because if it sits in the circlip bore then it covers up the circlip groove.
