I have owned both, many of them and I like both. Just about any 700S you find will need work. All mine did and I’ve owned at least 20 of them. The 750 is a great bike, very smooth and incredibly good motor. I now have just an 86 700S Halloween edition (black, red and orange decals). I could easily have kept my 2002 750 but for different reason. The 700S is a classic. It’s not just utilitarian as the 750 very much is. I think your criteria has to include whether you are looking for more than a reliable, utilitarian, practical bike. Looks is important too. Which one do you think is the better looking to you? Graham
